I went through 6 rounds of video interviews over 3 weeks. The process was fairly streamline, and the conversations went quite well but they ended up offering it to an internal candidate. It felt like they knew this was their plan all along and they were stringing me along to check a box. Not unusual unfortunately, but disappointing nonetheless.

Question 1
I was asked primarily about contracting and sales experience.
Pretty standard, interview with HR screener then hiring manager and selected team members and stakeholders. Each person took a different approach, some behavioral questions. They also gave a background about their role.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you wanted to implement something and someone disagreed with your approach.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Optum (Minneapolis, MN) in June 2023
Interview
Decent - if you count the act of having to interview 6 times with a presentation, technical exam, and then a 2 month hiring freeze and then an offer, decent.
