"Avoid this company â they use candidates for free work and hide behind a new name. My experience with this company (now called Seal, previously known as Opvia) was extremely disappointing and honestly felt like a scam. There was no HR screening, they just sent me a math test right away. After I submitted it, they followed up with a design task that required a lot of effort. Even though I told them when Iâd deliver it, they kept sending unnecessary reminders, as if they had no respect for my schedule. I also had a meeting planned, which was rescheduled, and then completely ghosted. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I followed up multiple times via email, and never got a single response after that. Whatâs worse is that theyâre not even on Glassdoor under the new name Seal, which seems intentional, likely to avoid the negative reviews they had under Opvia. After reading othersâ experiences, I realized this is a pattern: give candidates unpaid tasks, extract ideas, and then disappear. They have zero ethics, zero professionalism, and absolutely no respect for peopleâs time. Theyâre just collecting free ideas from talented people with no intention of hiring. Itâs one of the worst experiences Iâve had in my career. Do not trust this company or waste your energy here. Theyâll take your work and vanish."
