I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Orbis Investments (London, England) in Oct 2019
Interview
Contacted via recruiter, wasn't really sure what to expect. Brief meeting with senior analyst, some mental maths questions, background, usual stuff. Seem to care about mental maths more than others.

Question 1
Background / why looking to make a change, asked a couple of maths questions (mental maths required, no paper), relatively normal stuff.
I was left waiting on the phone for 30 minutes before it was then postponed. The next time, the interview was also 30 minutes late starting. Very short notice was given for each stage and then huge delay of five weeks.

Question 1
Why investing? What is the value of the investment industry?
Really smart team, had multiple rounds and a final round case study with the PMs. Questions were very intellectual, a lot of brain teasers/problem solving. Overall everyone was really nice, they all seemed to love talking about investing.
Performance at Orbis though hasn't been the best and employees echoed that sentiment - a lot of people have been leaving. But for the most part the people who have stayed, stay because of the people/culture which I'm sure is great.

Brain teasers
Really enjoyed the conversation, combination of fit and brainteasers. Fit questions were quite deep compared to other funds I have interviewed with. Interview took 60 minutes over video conference. There were several brain teasers and market sizing questions
