Orca Security Senior Software Engineer interview questions

At first, 60 mins of home assignment, that's made of two parts: one easy leet-code question and the other is testing out API usage skills. The next interview was conducted on zoom by an engineer and a tech lead. The interview was 25 mins of coding and 25 mins of drawing an architecture of coffee making machine. Unfortunately I wasn't very good but the thing that was worse was the behavior of the tech lead. He kept looking away, was very impatient with my questions and didn't do a thing to make my experience nicer. The other engineer was in fact thoughtful but the tech lead didn't let him take the reins at any point. The recruiter was noted about that at the rejection call I received from her.

I got reached out by a third-party recruiting company which acted as a mediator in the process. 1. Take-Home task to implement a simple API service. 3-8 hours depending on how isolated you implement the running environment as they do not provide any information about the runtime. Got positive feedback from 3p recruiter to move forward 2. 2 hours Coding/System design. Simple coding task, average system design for a chat system which assumes a lot about your familiarity with a particular web stack. Top-down communication, interviewers are not very open or engaging to ask questions or discuss proposed solutions. Solved both tasks well I guess as I got invited to the next round. 3. Interview with Hiring Manager and Team Lead. Complete opposite of interview #2 - openminded communication, discussed the project and the role. Waiting for over three weeks, multiple unanswered followups from my side. Think I'm ghosted.
