The director calls you directly. They really need an HR person, but they don't have one. They bring you in, and you sit in their conference room and answer questions. They always interview in pairs. They explain the position and library history in great detail. Bring your listening ears.

Interview
I discovered their hiring listing through a search on RAILS and personally dropped of my résumé in person. Within a week, I was called to schedule an interview. The interview took about an hour and forty minutes with many questions I have encountered before: What is your greatest strength, what is your greatest weakness, and how do you de-stress at the end of the day?
