Interview
I initially had a phone interview that went well, then was asked to schedule to come in to their office the following week. I was praised for my work in the in person interview and was asked many of the same questions as the phone interview but it was nice to see the office/meet the faces. I felt confident leaving the interview and was excited about the role. After the in-person interview, I heard from them in about a week that there was a delay in the hiring process for the position but that I was one of the top 4 candidates. (how exciting!) In about another week I got an email after inquiring on the status, that they would be putting off hiring till January. This was frustrating to me since it was October/early November. Why go through all the trouble without the position being approved or set in stone?. Finally, I emailed again recently in December to wish Happy Holidays and that I look forward to hearing from them in January about the position and was told they are permanently holding off hiring for the position. I don't know if I was deceived in the status of the job the whole time or they truly put off hiring. I have not seen any new photography used on their website, which sucks for them. Disappointed that I had to reach out to find out they put it on hold. Instead, they lead me on for months with a small hope I could possibly have a chance at the job in January.

Interview
Easy, brief interview. The store manager was very nice. He explained what was expected of me and what my duties would be. He asked me to tell him about myself, what I liked most about my previous jobs and what I can bring to the company.
