I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Oscar Health (New York, NY) in June 2015
Interview
I applied on the website; very shortly after that, the hiring manager contacted me to set up a call. After the call, a recruiter contacted me to set up an on-site interview day. They also sent a case study via email. The interviews included: discussion of case study; problem-solving skills based on real-life example; behavioral questions; and finally a discussion of workflow and opportunities for improving same.
The interview day was a three-and-a-half-hour, four-interview experience that was well organized. At every step of the way (first call with hiring manager, email exchange including scheduling interviews and the case study, interview day itself and final follow up), the parties involved did a wonderful job of communicating next steps and expectations.
They called two days after the on-site interview to let me know they would not be going forward with my candidacy, but instead of giving me the brush-off when I asked for constructive feedback, they actually (very diplomatically) provided it.
