Interview
I applied online. Was given an open ended programming challenge. I was invited in for an interview a week or two later. When I got there I sat around for 15 minutes. The office was a mess. Finally began. Was essentially berated for 20 minutes. Was told if I worked there I wouldn't be paid for first few weeks while I took programming courses, and after that I would be freelance for a few months. They never followed up with me, not that I really would have wanted them to.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Outernets (New York, NY) in Feb 2019
Interview
This company is bottom of the barrel in every way, the pay for the role and skill level are terrible, the CEO is a disorganized mess that couldn't follow up on any of the items he expressly wrote down to follow up on. Office is depressing and the whole enterprise feels quite shady. This company is exactly what would happen if your Deli would try and become a technology company.
