I applied for this position through a headhunter the firm had hired. I was excited to go to this firm because it was local. They have lots of good projects. They sounded very cordial and discussed my experience and how I would fit in to their organization.
Things were off in this interview. I waited over 30 minutes after I had arrived. Obviously they were not prepared for my in-person interview. I never got to see the office - which makes me believe they were replacing someone there without their knowledge.
The firm kept waffling because they promised me a second interview to meet the owner of the firm. That promised interview never happened.
It turns out the position did not even exist. The firm decided that they would rather promote people from within instead of hiring new staff. So much for interviewing with them. The interview was a complete waste of time. They do not care whether people are employed or not. I can only imagine what it would be like to work for them or even how they treat their clients - which could be really bad.
