PLOS Associate Director interview questions

HR interview followed by two competency based interviews. First with hiring manager, Second with two peers. All of the people I encountered were friendly and professional. There was quite a bit of time between each interview. Applied in August, second interview was in November. No offer made (fine), but also no communication. Still haven't been officially told I didn't get the job which is unique in my job search and quite rude, Have made requests for updates/feedback 4 times. As a second round candidate for a senior position, this is poor process. I'm aware others have had a similar experience for other roles.
