Expect to be ghosted. I was invited to interview which consisted of a an HR phone screening done by a recruiter from out of state. I thought it went well as it lasted much longer than any traditional phone screening i’ve ever done, and we discussed the role and my background in depth. I was given the name of the hiring manager who would be contacting me. After the timeframe in which I was told I would hear from them passed, I followed up, and received no response in return. If you enjoy wasting your time and getting your hopes up, go ahead and apply.
