POP Architecture interview questions

Interview was a bit odd. Interviewer/one of the principles kind of just rambled. He kept asking me how the last owners were at my job which I thought was unprofessional. I will tell an interviewer about my work there, my role, and general things about the firm but, I am not going to start bad mouthing people in an interview. Seemed like he wanted to hear some gossip. Interviewer acted like it was going well and talked about setting up another interview that week then never got back to me. If they didnt think I was a good fit they didnt need to say any of that. Dont have much respect for people that are dishonest or cant say what they mean. Also, office was a tiny, tiny room in a coworking space.
