I had a rather disappointing experience with this company for a position based in France.
At the beginning, it was not even a proper interview. Someone called me to briefly introduce themselves and explain that they were hiring for a position, then asked if I was interested. I answered positively and shared my salary expectations.
After that, I received an invitation for an interview with the manager. The discussion lasted about 45 minutes and went well. The manager was friendly and professional.
However, the process became unclear afterwards. I never had an interview with HR. Instead, I simply received a phone call informing me that my initial salary expectation was not accepted, but that they were offering a different figure, without any real discussion or structured negotiation.
One week later, I received a job offer stating an “Agent de Maîtrise” status, which had never been mentioned or discussed during the interviews. For a position in France, where employment status (Agent de Maîtrise vs. Executive/Cadre) has a significant impact on responsibilities, compensation, and benefits, this lack of transparency is particularly concerning.
Overall, the lack of clarity and communication regarding key elements such as employment status and salary reflects an unclear and poorly structured recruitment process. It does not inspire confidence in the company.
