One word - pathetic. After 20minutes of listening how the company is innovative, open, helping people grow and offering them learning opportunities the senior manager discovered that in my CV (very detailed) he is not able to find some skills needed, according to him, to perform the job. On my answer: "yes, I didnt do this particular calculations but I wouldn't see it as problem. Will simply learn it" he responded: "No. It is a senior role. You are not able to learn it". It was simple mathematic formula. I found it extremely pathetic nd unprofessional, especially when he finished interview 5minutes later. I need to admit that this type of highly embaraccing behaviour I have not seen so far, not sure if this is just company strategy or simple gender issue.
