      Event Coordinator Interview

      16 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PRA (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

After applying online, I received an email to schedule a phone call/screening. A week later, I received an email from the boss at the SF location. She wanted to schedule an in person interview. I was informed that two people would be conducting the interview and both a proofreading/math test would be required after the interview portion. Less than a week later, I received another invite to come back in for a final interview. This time, the boss would actually be in attendance (as she should have been the first time but she was off partying in another city for the week). I would be required to interview with her and then each member of the team would introduce themselves and ask me one question. I wasn't so much irritated that I wasn't hired, just that I was so inconvenienced as I live very far out of town. Had the boss been there the FIRST time, I wouldn't have had to waste a lot of financial resources just for them to tell me NO.
