I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PSA Airlines (Dayton, OH) in June 2014
Interview
The first section of the interview is a group presentation where they go over what's expected of flight attendants and what to expect from a job. Next, they split you up into small groups and give you 15 minutes to get to know each other. After that you are called up one group at a time to "present" your partners to the group. Once you've completed your presentation you pick a question out of a fishbowl and have 30 seconds to answer (this could be anything from your favorite roller coaster to your hero) after both of those activities are done they will call your name and ask you to wait outside, you then move on to the next part of the interview. You're given a real passenger complaint and answer to write a response as if you were the customer service agent. After that you take a short quiz based on everything you learned before and move on to the 1 on 1 interview. Once your job history has been recapped they'll ask you if you're okay working weekends and holidays and if you ever get sick (the correct answer is no) and they conclude by letting you know you'll get an email.
Showed up to a large scale group interview I drove an hour for. Waited for 3 hours in the lobby to be called into an interview room only for them to look at my resume for 30 seconds and tell me i wasn’t a good fit
I applied online and, after a few days, received a 20-minute video interview. I’ve completed it and am now waiting to hear back about the next step in the process.
