I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Pacific Gas and Electric
Interview
Applied online, then got an email inviting me to an interview. Met a panel of three, two supervisors and one engineer. Only one interview done. Asked some questions about your resume, then standard questions that are asked all the candidates. Then you get a chance to ask questions. Finished the interview with "Why should we hire you?"
I was called up for an interview which would involve a technical exam first. I found it odd that they would give me a test asking me to solve college level problems when I already have a few years of professional design engineering experience under my belt. Isn't my work experience more relevant than formulas and subjects I studied in college years ago? I think this would be more appropriate for someone fresh out of college.
