      Software Developer Interview

      3 Aug 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Culver City, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PacketFabric (Culver City, CA) in June 2020

      Interview

Consisted of an automated coding test (similar to HackerRank) right of the bat. I aced the test (got 100% of the scenarios right), but still didn't get to the next stage. The issue here is that their recruitment team is unconsidered and lazy, that is, they didn't even bother to look at my CV to figure out if my skills and experience fit their expectations BEFORE sending me the coding test. It's devastating for someone to spend 60 minutes of their time working on something, showing great performance on it, and still get rejected. Anybody that would have aced the test would expect to go to the next stage. They don't give a damn about developers. My time is worth nothing to them, obviously.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Automated coding test from a company named "Woven". Consisted of one bug investigation scenario and a Python back-end implementation "HackerRank style".
