I applied online. I interviewed at Paladin Security (Toronto, ON) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was smooth and professional. I had a nice conversation with the HR representative, where she asked questions about my background, experience, and availability. The interview went well, and the very next day I received a job offer.

Question 1
What would you do if you saw a trespasser on the property?”
Webcam Interview, was scheduled a few days prior. She was polite and upfront about everything. Was for an on-call position, just disappointed about the lack of shifts I was being offered.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paladin Security (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2025
Interview
After a month had passed since my application, when I had almost forgotten about it, I received an email with several questions and was asked for an interview a few days later. I took an English test and a case study writing exam before the interview, which was fairly standard and the atmosphere was pleasant. The interviewer mentioned that the results would be communicated within the week of the interview, but more than a month passed without any news. Then, about 5-6 weeks later, I received another interview request. I scheduled the date, but I couldn't help doubting whether I could trust a company that only reached out when it suited them, contrary to their promises. I might have been hired, but I didn't want to wait endlessly over a month for a response that might not be favorable, as it happened before. I decided not to go to the interview, and amusingly, the rejection email arrived the very next morning.
