I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Akron, OH) in June 2015
Interview
I showed up early so I had to wait but as soon as the manager saw me she appreciated the patience and earliness. The actual interview was really laid back and honestly really easy, she asked more questions about myself rather than the bland interview questions. It was really relaxing that it just felt like I was talking to someone rather be questioned then leave.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Orlando, FL)

The interview was sitting down with the general manager. The job offered on the spot. Cafe associates were largely high school students. Interview reflected ability to show up on time and be trainable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Melbourne, FL) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewer (who was the manager at the time) was a nice person, charming in the way he spoke, understanding, a good listener, and good speaker. I didn't get the job, but he was still very charitable when interviewing me.
I applied online and was reached out for an interview a couple days later. We briefly went over my resume and talked about availability and interest. The meeting with the general manager was only about 15 minutes - 30 minutes long.
