I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Costa Mesa, CA) in July 2015
Interview
First interview was a group interview. Basic questions, trying to get to see your personality, values etc. Asked about a few prior experiences you have had with customers. Nothing too complicated. Two days later received a callback to come interview with the GM of the location i wanted to work at. Second interview was not really an interview, more of a chance for the GM to meet me and give them time for my background check to clear before they offered me position. 9 days after interview with the GM i was offered the position.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Orlando, FL)
Interview
The interview was sitting down with the general manager. The job offered on the spot. Cafe associates were largely high school students. Interview reflected ability to show up on time and be trainable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Melbourne, FL) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewer (who was the manager at the time) was a nice person, charming in the way he spoke, understanding, a good listener, and good speaker. I didn't get the job, but he was still very charitable when interviewing me.
I applied online and was reached out for an interview a couple days later. We briefly went over my resume and talked about availability and interest. The meeting with the general manager was only about 15 minutes - 30 minutes long.
