An online assessment, as well as an in person interview. The assessment is more of a personality quiz that asks questions about how you would handle certain situations. The in-person interview was more about why I want to work there, and what I believe I would bring.

Question 1
To describe how I would handle certain situations.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Papa Murphys
Interview
Standard restaurant interview. Didn't have to prove any hands on skills, but did have to run through a few customer scenarios. A few questions about prior experience and things like "tell me about a difficult customer situation" and stuff like that.
Not a lot of transparency about the process and what was going in. I did an initial interview with the hiring manager, then basically silence for 2 weeks. I got a mass email from the recruiter saying they are waiting to hear back from the hiring manager. I said thanks for the update. Another 2 weeks go by, and he says the same thing - they are waiting to hear back. About another week or so goes by, and they let me know that the position has been filled. So obviously they were lying about "having not heard back from the hiring manager" I wish there was more transparency upfront about wanting to move forward with other candidate and not leave me hanging.
