After applying I received a call from the recruiter to go over some questions which went well, he then set up a day and time for the second interview which was virtual with the hiring manager. I answered all the questions and we had great chemistry at least I thought we did and I thought everything went well, I was advised that normally there is a second person on the interview but she was out of the office until next week and she would not hire anyone with out her meeting them first therefore, I would not hear anything till she returned. I sent a thank you email to the recruiter and the hiring mgr that night. I gave it a week then sent a follow up email to see if a decision had been made (CRICKETS) I find it very rude that a person can take a second out of their time to respond to a Thank you email just to say your welcome and it is even worse when you cant respond to someone to let them know that they did not get the job. Things like this make you think twice about a company, if their this rude to someone trying to get a job which is stressful and and could be going through a hard time in their life due to being unemployed then how rude are they to the people that already work under them.
