I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Park West Gallery (Timişoara) in Nov 2013
Interview
Lengthy. A lot to learn but doable. You have to learn their manual which they only send you if you pass your first skype interview - over 150 artists' biographies, exhibitions, etc. They thoroughly test you on those during the next interviews. Out of 12 applicants from my country I was the only one who made it.
They send you an email of an artist you will be presenting at the interview, so you prepare a 1-2 min presentation of the said artist in the first interview, if you pass you will be invited for training which is much more difficult because will have to present over 25 artist and know each one off by heart
The interview process was well organised and professionally conducted. The recruitment team communicated clearly throughout and took the time to explain the role, expectations, and training structure. The experience felt respectful, supportive, and thoughtfully managed from start to finish.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my professional background, my motivation for the role, and how I approach engaging with clients while communicating the story, context, and value of artworks.
I interviewed at Park West Gallery (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
it was very informative! there's an information session first, then it is individual interview. The interview isn't particularly difficult, mostly basic questions like self introduction. But also a few imaginative question.
