I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Parseq (Glasgow, Scotland) in July 2016
Interview
I got a call from a nice recruitment person from Parseq the telephone interview lasted over 1 hour I was advised that I did exceptionally well and I was invited to go for a face to face interview I went and only 4 out of 10 of us turned up and the other 3 people only wanted part time due to long shifts. You sit written tests also they want to see how you get on as a team so some role play this involved you and other candidates during the interview. Then this Manager comes in and took me away to their call centre for a telephone role play I was just quickly asked do you have your phone with you and he sat with his iphone he quickly told me to down load an app then he just started pretending to to be a customer who needed help to get heating remote system up and running as the engineer had went away without helping I didnt even get the time to download this app so I bluffed my way through the pretend call and I thought that I did okay considering that I had no app to help me.
I then got a phone call two days later to let me know how I got on at the interview I was told that I did Great at interview and got on well with other candidates and shown great team player qualities and did well with tests except that Manager mock call he marked me down stating that I failed the mock call with him therefore I would not be getting a job with the company. To be honest I was glad as I did not think that Manager was a fair person and seemed very Army like and the work place seemed very regimented and stressful even the recruiter seemed stressed during interview process? The other candidates told me after interview that they did not get that Manager for their mock call they got a nice lady and they didnt have to do what I did so its just your luck or bad luck who you get.

They throw in a question why did the chicken cross the road it wasnt just to get to the other side?
Not sure why they ask this on test paper maybe to see if you have a sense of humour?
