He was late to the call and instead of saying hello or making any small talk, he jumped into "Why are you talking to me today?" in a trying to get off the phone voice. Really, you don't know? I was only targeted by your team for weeks insisting on getting this set up.
I express my interest is finding opportunities to create solutions that generate new revenue. CTO states that is not how they do things around there and they design solutions that will consume users time not based on sales, to which my response is "How is my performance rated?" After beating around the bush the answer circled back to sales performance haha.
After a few more minutes of conversations and in the middle of a sentence he says I have a hard stop so last question. -- Well thanks for making me plan my schedule around you wasting my time. Let's not preview that future any further, not interested in working with someone with those behaviors.
