I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PatSnap (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
The interview with Talent Acquisition executive was over an audio zoom call, I was super prepared and spent 5 hours researching the company before the chat. The interviewer was polite but sharp. It felt a bit like a tick box interview. They never gave me feedback on why I wouldn't progress to the next stage, I think it was because of my accent.
I applied online. I interviewed at PatSnap (Toronto, ON) in June 2026
Interview
I applied online on LinkedIn and received an email from the Talent Manager. I was interviewed by the Talent Manager, who was very friendly. She first asked me 'tell me about yourself', 'why do you want to work here', 'what do you know about Patsnap', three traits that an SDR should have, and 'tell me about a time you had to show grit'. Overall, the interview was within the 20-30 minute time bracket and was very pleasant.
One initial call with HR and a second call with SDR manager. Then in person interview and call with head of life sciences. First two stages were quite relaxed and not too high pressure.
First step is a phone interview with the recruiter, then a video interview with the Hiring manager who is the SDR manager, then an interview person cold call role play interview in the office and lastly a video interview with the head of sales
