Zoom interview with HR, very casual. Asked about how I got into the pet wellness industry, then asked about my first job at 16 as if it had relevancy for this position, which was confusing. I was told I would hear about next steps within 2 days, but instead I was sent an informal email asking for me to explain the 5 year gap in my resume, which was not addressed in the interview. I responded as professionally as I could, and that’s the last I ever heard, after sending a follow up email the next Monday, and the week after that. A very disheartening and unprofessional experience.

Applied on LinkedIn, received an invite to interview from Meredith shortly after. During webcam interview I mention my first job working at a vet clinic as my introduction into the pet wellness industry , and she seriously asked about my experience there, when I was 16, as if it was relevant for this job. 2 days after webcam interview, I receive an email that says “I forgot to ask about the 5 year gap. Could you explain that to me?”. After replying, and sending a follow-up email the next week, I never receive any response. That email was very unprofessional and to be ghosted after replying, is incredibly unprofessional.
