I applied through university. I interviewed at Paycom (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2018
Interview
Contacted by recruiter for an on campus interview. After passing, was scheduled for an onsite interview in November 2018 for their tech night. Both involved some behavioral and technical questions. Also took a part in their top golf event before the onsite interview.

SQL Join, how to distinguish good software developers from great ones
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Grapevine, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
I had one of the most disappointing interview processes. I am an international student and before applying for this role, I contacted the recruiter and asked him if Paycom offers CPT positions to international students. The recruiter replied by saying that yes they do. So I applied for the position. I also mentioned in my application that I am a bachelors student and "YES" I will require VISA sponsorship. After 5 days I received my HackerRank, I aced it. Then they invited me for the second round technical interview where the interviewer asked me technical questions and a coding problem. I also aced the technical interview. The next day I get an email from recruiter that he would like to discuss my career goals, background, and expectations from the role on a phone call. So we scheduled a phone call. I was pretty excited because this was way into the interview process and I was progressing steadily. On the phone call, the recruiter said that they will not be going forward with my application because I am a bachelors student and Paycom are not offering sponsorship to Bachelors student. I had been preparing for these interviews for a long time and missing my classes to prepare or them and getting rejected because the recruiter did not properly communicate about the job is really saddening and disappointing. I hope Paycom is careful about their job descriptions and communications from the next time.
