I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Payless ShoeSource (Johnson City, TN) in June 2012
Interview
I was interviewed twice and thought I would receive the job. I called back because I was told to do so by the manager, and every time I called she was busy. Long story short I called every couple days for about 3 weeks and was given the same answer every time, I am busy and will call you back. After about 3 weeks I gave up because she never returned a single phone call, even though she promised she would. I moved on and found a better higher paying job, which never requires me to work past 7:30pm and I'm off on weekends. Couldn't be more pleased. Although I find payless management to be very disappointing and will most likely never shop at a payless because of this experience I had. Why suppport a store that can't do something as simple as calling someone back?

Interview
Easy process and simple questions, very straight forward process. They ask about your goals and experience in sales. If you’ve ever worked for Payless. It was overall a great experience. Very easy interview process
Got the job, then the store burned down. Then the company went out of business. I was really good friends with everyone an had a connection to someone who worked there so the job was easy.
Standard interview for a retail job. I interviewed twice - once with the assistant manager and once with the manager. Was called and let know that I got the job and scheduled drug test.
