Interview

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Peak Scientific (Westford, MA) in Mar 2025
Interview
The entire process was 45 days! I had 2 phone interviews, 2 virtual interviews, and 1 in person interview with 4 people and an online personality test. After the final interview, it took them 1 week to get back to me. They said they wanted to hire us both, but selected another candidate.
2 weeks later- they wrote to me and said they are hoping that I am still interested in the role, and that could I come back to meet the general manager and a co-worker. I of course said yes, and went back for that meeting. I thought it went well, but had to wait 5 days for a response only to tell me that they want someone with more experience. I am just so depleted from their interview process. What a waste of time and energy.

Question 1
This is my space to add additional info. They asked me lot of questions, and during the interview I could tell that based on the way they were talking that anyone in this role will be doing more than their fair share of work. There is NO structure around this role. Seems like people there are overworked and understaffed and take on others responsibilities because they don't want to overhire. I dodged a bullet here is all I have to say.
