I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Penguin Group in Sept 2021
Interview
Following my application, I had a recorded interview with five questions. A month later, I was invited to attend a Zoom interview with two editors, and was informed that the final stage of the process would be next week, in which there would be an in-person interview and editorial assessment.
I had to email twice in order to be informed that I was unsuccessful, and it has been three weeks since I asked for feedback.

Explain your experience and suitability for the role.
Why did you apply for this specific role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Group (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
First an interview with a recruiter for about fifteen minutes, then a second interview later on with two people from the particular imprint that lasted half an hour. They were on different days.
The process is simple, but there is something soulless about recording the video interview. Felt a little impersonal, but perhaps they have too many applicants to make the process less automated.
