Peninsula Clean Energy interview questions

A couple people were nice but some of the other people interrogated me during the interview. I think they are in a place where they need to uplevel their teams but some people seem threatened by candidates with more experience based on how they worded the questions and how they behaved. Most of the interview process involves them asking for free work - how would I fix their business, how would I do a specific project, etc - it felt like a free consulting session for their business. They asked for a lot of free work and asked me to be very specific.
