      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (San Diego, CA) in Sept 2013

      Interview

Received a phone call from the District Rental Manager, checking to see if I was still interested in the position, since I applied well over 30 days ago. We agreed to an interview. This is a three round interview process, spread over three different visits. Round 1, they "feel" you out, and see if they like you. Round 1 is also a one-on-one interview, very casual, and a little informal. You talk about your resume, beginning with your oldest job, up to the most current, and they ask you what you liked about each position. The office itself is average, nothing fancy, and the manager's office is "hotel" like - scarce, with no files, stacked on the desk, and no personal, framed pictures (was a little odd) either on top of his desk. I don't watch football, and/or drink beer, and I'm not bilingual - that's probably why I didn't make it to round 2.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2016

      Interview

Had a phone interview, then a sit down with two regional managers, who were pretty friendly. A couple weeks later I got called back for an interview with the district manager, who was kind of a creep. He said things that didn't make sense from a business standpoint, and looking back I wonder if the test was whether I would disagree with him. They let me know very quickly that I did not get the position. That was cool.

      Question 1

DM: Well, logistics aren't that important to our company because people come to us for higher quality, not lower prices
