I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Performance in People (Ryde, England) in Dec 2018
Interview
I was invited to an interview after applying online which was conducted by two employees of this company. After an initial waiting time the interview process seemed to progress fluidly. Some personal questions: what are your hobbies, where do you see yourself in 5 years, what is your greatest weakness, tell us about yourself? etc. The interview also consisted of a short test of the job role.: A short 20 min video of a person entering a shop to buy things.
As the video plays you are given a questionnaire and expected to answer the questions on the content in the video.
I finished the interview on a fairly positive note, but the company failed to inform me of the outcome of my interview, which is very rare for a professional company in my experience. Whilst it is common, due to shear number of applicants, for a company not to follow up on CV's submitted in response to a job advert when the candidate is unsuitable for the role, once interviewing has commenced and the candidate has taken the time to show-up, it is always the case that a courtesy contact is normally given in my experience informing the candidate regardless of whether he / she was or was not successful in his/ her application.
