I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pfizer (New York, NY) in June 2023
Interview
The interview process was fairly straightforward and structured. The focus was mainly on behavioral and situational questions, where they asked for specific examples of how I’ve handled various aspects of project work. They were particularly interested in how I manage timelines, coordinate with cross-functional teams, handle unexpected challenges, and ensure deliverables stay on track.
A good portion of the interview centered around competency-based questions, like how I prioritize tasks under pressure, how I deal with difficult stakeholders, or how I’ve resolved conflicts or miscommunications within a team. They also asked about how I measure project success and what steps I take when a project starts veering off course.
Overall, it was less about technical skills and more about how I think, communicate, and operate in real-world situations—especially under pressure or when juggling multiple moving parts.
