Recently, PhonePe visited our Tier-1 campus for the Graduate Trainee role. The skills they emphasized were SQL, Python, Excel, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills. 📝 Process Structure: Online Test (OT) Group Discussion (GD) Personal Interview 1 (PI1) Personal Interview 2 (PI2) 👥 Around 600+ students applied as per eligibility criteria and took the Online Test. The test covered aptitude topics such as: Data Interpretation Profit & Loss Probability Logical Deduction Puzzles Passages & Grammar checks The test was of easy to moderate difficulty. Out of all participants, around 60 students were shortlisted for GD, and I was fortunate to be one of them. 💬 My GD topic was: “Will OTT platforms dominate over traditional platforms?” The discussion lasted for ~25 minutes with a panel of 8–12 members. It was a great learning experience to put across structured thoughts in a competitive environment. Although I couldn’t make it past the GD stage, the entire process was an immense learning opportunity. It gave me insights into where I can improve and how to prepare better for upcoming placements.

The interview process was of 5 rounds.First was OA which was of easy to med level aptitude and reasoning.Then there was GD .We were divided into groups of 10.My topic was"Digital lending - boom or curse" .After that was another technical round of guesstimate and logical thinking,followed by 2 HR rounds.
