I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Photobooth Supply Co in July 2025
Interview
The interview itself was well paced, our discussions flowed with ease. I really appreciate their care to ask further questions about myself which led into some fun moments during the interview.

Question 1
Describe a time where you had to handle a difficult customer.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Photobooth Supply Co in Aug 2025
Interview
They sent over a bunch of interview questions which you had to answer via video. Next round, they sent over 8 or so generic marketing questions via email and then 2-3 very specific questions (what's 1 thing wrong with our website you'd improve, can you show me an example of a marketing funnel, etc).
It sounds like they were fishing for free work, and this stung after I got an email from them saying they were going to "revisit the structure and responsibilities of this role" which is like saying thanks, but no thanks.
The interview process was not difficult, but the video component felt shallow. I am saying it's difficult if you value your time. They seemed to just want to waste ours.
The questions were not needed, and there was very little communication from the company along the way. It also took them almost a full month to finally get back to me after I had sent them 5-6 follow ups and calls. It's impossible to get anyone there on the phone to be honest outside of sales person, who is seemingly clueless as to the owners or decision-maker's phone number.

Interview
To be considered for the role you need to provide a ‘One way interview’ responding to really vague and irrelevant questions. One way video interviews in my experience are a red flag, please be aware!!! The hiring process then requires answering a series of written questions: How have you used AI to achieve your KPIs in past positions?
Provide at least one critiques to the current Photobooth Supply Co website and/or ad funnels. What would you change to improve conversions?

Tell us about a marketing campaign where the results didn’t go as expected. What happened, and how did you adjust your strategy?
Before being invited to a zoom call.
