I initially applied to this position on April 12th. My first interview was on May 3rd. There were two interviewers and then one person off to the side that shared their screen of a document with about 8 in-depth questions about the position I was applying to. I then was called in for another interview that was less structured, but was a phone call between me and the two interviewers from before on May 13th. These questions were more behavioral based and about situations like "what would you do if a colleague kept coming in to ask you questions about an event or program you were working on?" They then contacted my references on May 22nd and I was rejected on June 3rd because " [we] decided that your experience and qualifications were not the best match for this position". Anyway, while the interviews themselves were not hard, the whole hiring process was giving disorganized and unsure. If I wasn't qualified or experience then they should have rejected me after the first interview instead of going so far as to contact my references. They also didn't seem to have my contact information even though they've called me and have my email so not sure what happened there since it's all in my application. The only reason they got back to me about 2nd rounds was because I asked for a follow up on my status on the position. While I am desperately seeking for a position, it's probably for the best that they find someone else.
