      Junior Salesforce Analyst Interview

      8 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PlanSource

      Interview

It took over a month to hear back from anyone about my initial job application. When I finally received an email asking when that week they could have a phone interview with me, I gave them my available times. Nothing. I emailed again and called. Nothing. Thought it was weird but assumed they had just moved on and weren't courteous enough to let me know. About an additional 2 weeks was when they reached out again for a phone interview. They didn't ask me when was good, I just received an automated email out of the blue that I had a phone interview on a certain day and certain time. Good thing I was able to be available.... It was about a 10 minute phone call, not what I would call their "30 minute interview." The recruiter had good energy. She told me that they would be hiring 2 Junior Salesforce Analysts. She felt "great" about me, and that I "would most likely be it" and to plan on hearing back from them ASAP, and that she thought my past experiences and education were very qualifying, etc etc. I thought that was interesting considering the fact that we had never talked before, I still had yet to have an official interview with them, and I hadn't even met the people I would be working with.... But sounds good, right? She sent me their mandatory personality and IQ tests. I took them and waited to hear back. If she was telling me that I would be "it," wouldn't that be after I had completed an actual amount of their interview process? Then the next week I received an email saying that they were going a "different route" and that I would not be assuming the job position. Still haven't received a response to my email asking why, since this seemed contradictory of what this recruiter was telling me over the phone. All in all, I have shared this experience with others and we've all agreed that it was pretty unprofessional. I have yet to step foot in PlanSource, but if my future company ever needed a benefits company.... I have a bad taste in my mouth for PlanSource and would steer my company away from them just based on how they handle things.

I am so sorry to hear this; obviously, while an apology will not alter the outcome of your experience, I can only hope you'd give us another shot. If so, I would love to have the privilege of speaking with you directly. I can be reached at destiny.quinn@plansource.com. Thank you so much for your candid review. It is only through feedback such as this that we can get better - and, since we've hired many more members of our team since your last interaction, I truly believe we have gotten better. Thanks again.
