Completed one phone interview. The interviewer talked mostly about money right up front and only minimally about skills for about half an hour. After being told the process was taking slightly longer than expected, the interviewer and I kept in contact about once a week.
When I inquired about the position, after being told I was a strong candidate, about three or four weeks into the process, I never received an e-mail back.
Being professional, when I did find employment I e-mailed the interviewer to let them know I would no longer be a viable candidate. At this time, I was told the position had been filled. I found the professionalism to be highly lacking, or because it was not a general recruiter/HR person, they may not know the way to go about sending a "we regret to inform you" letter.
