I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Plano-Coudon (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
Kind of informal tour of the building and meeting people, like some sort of speed date and charisma challenge rather than a job interview. The interview started late because security took time to get through, which is not ideal for making someone feel less stressed about a job interview.
After the interview, HR person emailed and then called me, making it seem like I was going to get a job offer. I don’t know why this individual felt the need to get someone’s hopes up in this way and then act wildly confused and irate that someone would be dismayed. Just figured this is feedback worth sharing so everyone continues their job search no matter what HR at PC is doing. I found a better job with a straightforward HR department, so kudos to HR at PC for the advice of talking like an assertive man, I suppose

Question 1
Communication style questions
Do you like always being at the office (pointing out that there’s a glorious couch and ping-ping table)?
We are always open to feedback and appreciate it when candidates take the time to share their experiences with us. Our team strives to provide every candidate with a positive and welcoming experience throughout the interview process. We agree that interviewing can be stressful, so it’s important to us that we do everything we can to lessen that stress. Because we are proud of our culture and our people, we try to introduce candidates to a range of team members so that they get a sense of who we are and what the experience of working at Plano-Coudon is like. We also think candidates deserve more than an email after an in-person interview whenever possible -- our HR team wants to ensure that anyone who takes the time to come in for an interview is treated with appreciation for their time and interest in our company. Finally, we don’t have security in our building (in which we are the sole occupants) so we are unclear about how the process of entering the building may have been a challenge.
