I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PlayStudios Asia in Sept 2019
Interview
Round 1: Interview with the Creative Director and Product Lead
Round 2: Take home test to be done in a few days, followed by a presentation back to the interviewers.
The test was fair and based on the gaming industry. I enjoyed the process as it was one of the more interesting things I worked on during an interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was based on a test so the questions were based on the UX task given.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PlayStudios Asia (Hong Kong) in Apr 2021
Interview
They asked to do a unpaid coding project they call a challenge within a week's time which took a couple hours of time to complete - a waste time of time in my opinion.
In-person interview they ask general questions about your experience and also comment on the coding project. No real technical questions, instead they ask you specific questions about collaboration which unless you've worked with them before you are unlikely to give the right answer to.
They also brought in an obviously fresh graduate hire that asked some irrelevant questions.
Not remote friendly.

Question 1
They will ask you non-technical questions about your coding challenge lol
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PlayStudios Asia (Hong Kong) in June 2021
Interview
It started with a phone screening call by HR and then meeting the COO of the company to discuss the role and personal experience.
After that, it was followed by a take-home case study on some real problems they are facing. It's very time-consuming and without much instructions about what's required in it. Was invited to present to the COO onsite after submission. It is a combination of presentation and final interview where the interviewer (COO) asked you detailed questions regarding the case and you (e.g., how does this job fit your career, etc.).
The whole process is rather relaxed and friendly.
