Initial interview, there was delayed scheduling, mostly a run down of the job, a few generalised questions about my experience and why I would be a good fit for the role.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Plaza College (Queensbury, NY) in July 2023
Interview
The job was posted on Indeed. I applied, did an initial phone interview, then two in-person interviews. I felt like they wasted my time. They did not offer me a senior position; instead, I was offered an entry level position with promise of promotion within 3-6 months. They also offered me about 15k less than what was presented in the job ad. I wouldn't trust a company like this. Especially, after reading the reviews about 30 min lunches and unpaid overtime.
I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Plaza College (New York, NY) in May 2012
Interview
In the college I attended I studied Medical Assisting and upon graduation it is required you do 180 hours of externship at a hospital or nursing facility. Silver crest center was a choice of mine, and I was fortunate to get the chance to do my externship there. I assisted with respiratory rounds by assessing patients and taking vital signs and Admin series software to track and enter employee medical data. I was also responsible for data entry for quality assurance and scheduled residents appointments for doctors visits.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The interview was not as intricate as other interviews, because it was an externship position and we were basically issued in from the beginning. If I had to remember one question that would be. "What are my plans after graduation"?
