Had a phone interview, and the interviewer asked a coding question that he wanted me to write out over the internet. It was finding needle in a haystack problem. Problem itself was not hard but when the interviewer asked me to explain my code, i could tell he was not paying any attention at all (awkward pauses between my explanations and his responses). It really does sound like theyre trying to digure out the whole interview process still. Interviewer was really disengaged-- he didnt say a single word the entire time i was coding, even though i was thinking outloud and all. Had to be the worst interview interaction ever.
