I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Point B
Interview
Started off on the wrong foot...got an email invite from a senior recruiter to speak and then another message from another recruiter. Was then told it was a 'system error" when it was clear folks had just crossed signals. Not a big deal but no need to make something up.
Phone screen was quick and easy followed by 3 rounds of interviews including a case. First convo was with a junior employee, greatly enjoyed the conversation. Second was with a Sr. Principal in a specific practice. Third is with hiring manager
A few days later, I got a call from a recruiter, who had never directly communicated with, who sounded like they were outside in the wind. Poor connection. When I asked for feedback on why I was not moving forward, it was due to lack of experience that I had never stated I had nor was it listed in any JD I had seen. Had those expectations been made clear, I could have let them know I was not a fit and saved myself several hours. Finally, the recruiter also seemed like they were not ready to have the conversation, despite having just called me. If you're going to ask folks to spend two hours on a case, be prepared to spend a few minutes providing context for the decision.
Overall, a disappointing experience with what I had heard was a good company.
