I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at PolyAI in Mar 2026
Interview
The recruiter was very clear from the beginning what the format would be. The full cycle included the recruiter screening plus 4 interviews and a take home assignment. First interview was with the hiring manager, then a week to complete the design assignment. There were then 2 technical interviews, one for basic python and one for design. The last interview was with a higher up. Everyone was friendly and it didn't feel hard to make conversation.

Interview
Had a referral and a screen with HR. Was asked generally about my past experience, my resume, my education, etc. Was told I would get an email to schedule a next interview immediately afterwards and never received one.

Question 1
What experience do you have with customer experience design?
I applied online. I interviewed at PolyAI (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process was smooth and enjoyable. I learned something new at each stage and genuinely enjoyed speaking with all the interviewers. I also took time to reflect after each conversation, and I believe the insights I gained will be valuable for my future roles as well. Each stage was clearly explained in advance, so no worries about that. Overall, the experience makes me feel that they truly want to get to know me and it was a two way conversation.
