I arrived 15 mins earlier than scheduled time for the interview. As soon as entered into the building i felt that it was not going to be a good place to work. None of their employers asked me if i need any help or what i was waiting for. Waited another 15 mins more (total 30 mins) until someone came down from the office to let me know interviewers will be with me shortly. I was taken to a room and got interview by 2 men. None of them look professional and it was obvious they didn't prepare for interview. One of them doesn't speak English properly and another one doesn't know anything about Engineering or the role i applied for. One of them said they even give regular operator with no education or qualification some in house training to do Engineering job without spending money for them to get NVQ or any other recognised qualifications from college, which tells me that they are just looking for cheap labours but not professionally qualified Engineers who follow the HSE and Engineering principles by the book to solve the problems. On top of that, a lot of the other operatives seemed to be very unhappy with their day to day activities. I already got a job offered by another different company before i went to this interview just to see what's out there. As soon as i walked out i phone their management team to tell them i am no longer interested in this position at Polystar. Interview at "Polystar" was just a waste of time. Family run small businesses are the worst based on my experience. Avoid.
