Tina R. from PopHealthCare direct messaged me on Indeed asking for my availability the following week to schedule an interview with the hiring team. She asked the I email her company email with my response. I emailed her as she requested and never received a response from her. I even gave the benefit of the doubt that my initial response was overlooked or something came up so I reached out again a few days later via direct messaging on Indeed and still no response. I am so frustrated with the implementation of recruiters in the hiring process when so many just ghost you after expressing interest. Are they too young or inexperienced for the industry they are hiring for or for the recruiting job responsibilities or is my treatment disregarded since I am not a colleague that could report this behavior to a direct manager? It seems like just a numbers game so they can pad their own performance metrics and say they reached out to X number of applicants with no intention of following through. What happened to a common courtesy response at the least? After all, they are representing a company, PopHealthCare, in this case and are not just negatively impacting their own credibility.
