Interview
I experienced a very transparent, welcoming, and efficient interview process at Postlight. The interviews were reasonably challenging, professional, and informative. I was informed of updates to my candidacy quickly and clearly, and the company was receptive to my scheduling and personal needs.
In terms of the overall process, I began with an initial interview with two PM's who asked common behavioral PM questions. Then, I was assigned a take-home product case study that required a few hours of work (which I was paid for). My next interview was to present my work on the case study to two PM's and field their questions. Then, I had a final round consisting of 3 interviews, each with two interviewers spread across all disciplines at the company (design, engineering, strategy, etc.). A few days after that, I received an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The take-home case involved creating a presentation to present your ideas and project roadmap for a product that had been asked for by a client.
First interview was great. Second interview felt weird, unwelcoming, oppositional, confrontational, designed to make the interviewee feel 'less than.' I was really disappointed. I'd really admired this place and ended up feeling like they cared about tech, but not people.

Interview
After some attendee shuffling, I had a Zoom interview with Postlight. Once the date was set, I interviewed one-on-one with a senior employee -- but she was multi-tasking, and made no apologies/excuse as to why her attention was diverted. It ultimately felt like a waste of time instead of an actual interview.
